Missed Haul ("Missed Haul," "we," "us") is operated by Roman Jensen, a sole proprietor doing business as Missed Haul in Los Angeles, California. Missed Haul provides automated phone answering and lead alert text messages for junk removal and hauling businesses ("Clients"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- From Clients: name, business name, mobile phone number, email address, business address, and billing details needed to provide the service.
- From callers to a Client's business line: caller phone number, name, and the job details they provide (such as items to be hauled, location, and timing), along with call recordings and transcripts.
- Messages sent to a Client's business line: the content of text messages and the sender's phone number.
- Website usage: basic technical information such as browser type and pages visited.
How we use information
- To answer missed calls on a Client's behalf, capture job details, and send that Client a lead alert text message.
- To forward texts received on a Client's business line to that Client.
- To operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the service.
- To communicate with Clients about their account, billing, and support.
Caller information is used only to deliver the lead to the Client whose business the caller contacted. We do not sell caller or Client information.
Text messaging and mobile information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Missed Haul sends lead alert text messages only to Clients who have opted in at sign-up. We do not send text messages to callers or members of the public. Clients can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms for details.
Call recording and AI disclosure
Calls answered by Missed Haul are handled by an automated AI assistant. At the start of each call, callers are told they are speaking with an AI assistant and that the call is recorded. Recordings and transcripts are used to capture job details accurately and deliver them to the Client.
Service providers
We use trusted service providers to run Missed Haul, including providers for telephony and text messaging, AI voice processing, and workflow automation. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services to us and are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
How we share information
- With the Client whose business line a caller contacted, so the Client can follow up.
- With service providers as described above.
- If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Missed Haul, our Clients, or others.
Data retention
We keep call recordings, transcripts, and lead details only as long as needed to provide the service and resolve issues, and then delete them. Clients may request deletion of their account information at any time.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us. California residents may have additional rights under California law, and we will honor applicable requests.
Children
Missed Haul is a business service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
